QUIZ hosted by The Connection Sat July 23rd


STARTS 7:30pm

Bring your teams of 4 – 6 or we’ll make up teams on the night.

Bring your neighbours and a raffle prize and your own drinks & nibbles.

Quiz Question: How many properties can you put houses on, on a Monopoly
Board?

The monthly charity quiz can be hosted by anyone and you can nominate your charity or worthy cause. The hall is free to hire for these monthly quiz nights. the 4th Saturday of the month.

Trewassick Open Afternoon Sunday June 26th 1 – 5pm


in aid of the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

Come and have a wander around our summer gardens, meet the mini donkeys and their friends, relax with a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake.

Entry fee 5 pounds (under 12’s free)

Entry fee and proceeds from the tea and cake will go the DEC Ukraine Appeal.

Field parking, sorry NO DOGS, as we have baby animals and it is ground-nesting bird season.

Directions: Trewassick entrance is on the South Hill to Golberdon Rd PL17 7LT

From Golberdon take the South Hill Rd over Coombe Bridge, go up the hill and Trewassick entrance is on the left.

JUNE 18th Bells walk South Hill to St Andrews Calstock


Start 10am St. Sampsons church South Hill Grid ref SX 329 726 Postcode PL17 7LP

Choose from the full route which is 10.3 miles or 8 miles, or 6 miles or 3 miles and let Ali know ASAP. Transport will be arranged back from Calstock church. If you have dogs please make your own arrangements. Toilets are at the start, at HB & Metherel hall and at St Andrews church.

Brings drinks and refreshments, we’ll aim to lunch at HB & Metherel hall in the play area, it’s 3 miles from there to St Andrews.

St Andrews bell ringers will welcome us with a cup of tea and chance to go up the tower and see the bells and also try your hand at ringing them. There are lots of interesting details about the bells www.calstockbellringers.com, the church and the grave yard where you can find 3 people died on The Titantic and a Celtic Cross to mark the grave of Sir William Salusbury-Trelawny of Harewood House, Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall and the Grandfather of Emily Hobhouse.
