SOUTH HILL W.I. DECEMBER & JANUARY REPORT
December Meeting
Our Christmas Party was on Wednesday 3rd. We all brought a plate of food to contribute towards the party, and we were treated to an evening of entertainment by the Pillaton ladies hand bell ringers who gave us recitals of various well known Christmas Carols. Members were then given the chance to have a go themselves!! This proved to be a harder than it looked!
Neighbourhood Planning update
A Community Day was hosted by the Neighbourhood Planning Team at the parish hall in Golberdon on Saturday the 21st September.
The original idea for the event came from a suggestion by Cat Ede, and we would like to say a big thank you to her for this excellent idea.
South Hill WI June/July 2014
Our June Meeting we were treated to a talk with a slide show, from Michael Pettijohn showing us his time abroad, working as a Vet for MAFF. In his spare time, he captured on camera the way the African folk lived and how they’ve got very different ways that they live.
