South Hill Climate Change Action Group
The next meeting of the group will be at 7.30pm on Tuesday 8th November at
the Parish Hall, Golberdon.
The purpose of the meeting is to write a Climate Action Plan for our parish.
We have plenty of ideas of what could be done.
Now is the time to turn those ideas into a practical plan with clear targets and timescales.
All are welcome.

Operation London Bridge. Proclamation – read at 6.00pm on Sunday, 11th September 2022 https://fb.watch/fv5id-VY22/ LIVE READING by Parish Councillor Chair Dan Smith.
Today’s ceremony marks the formal proclamation to the people of South Hill parish of the beginning of our new Kings reign.
Yesterday the accession council met at St James Palace to proclaim our new sovereign. The flags which had flown at half mast since the Queens death will raise briefly to their full height to mark the start of His Majesty’s reign. The accession council also made an order requiring the High Sheriff to call the proclamation to be read in the areas of their jurisdiction.
We come together this afternoon following the passing of our late sovereign Queen Elizabeth II.
Our sadness at this time is shared by people across the globe as we remember with affection and gratitude the lifetime service given by our longest reigning monarch. The basis on which our monarchy is built has ensured that through the centuries a crown has passed in an unbroken line of succession.
The High Sheriff of Cornwall discharged that duty earlier today and now with my humble duty I bring the words of the proclamation to the residents of South Hill parish.
