Launceston Bells Walk May 26th 6pm

Friday May 26th 6pm START at St. Mary’s church in the center of Launceston. Free parking in the Long stay car park around the corner, at the top of TOWER St.

After we have climbed the church tower and made some noise on the bells we’ll walk down towards The Priory and Steam Train, then take the footpath up to the COOP petrol station on Western Rd, and  follow Hendra Vale to Denheaved rd to the A30 to see The Cross.

Then take the path around the College to CORONATION Field, down to WINDMILL Hill, down to Madford Lane, pass the TOWN HALL and through the CASTLE grounds.

Along THE WALK, Dockacre Rd, to Tavistock road to the pedestrian back entrance to THE CATTLE MARKET, down RACE HILL, Through the arch into the TOWN Center, behind the shops on the service road, down to CASTLE ST car park and TO THE BELL PUB.  Of course. 4.5 miles, will take around 2 hours ish, there’s lots to see.

The BELL prides itself on it’s beer but has a very limited food selection….

If you’d like to order a pasty from The Bell let me know, so we can give them plenty of notice.

If you’d like to car share, let me know.  Thank you Ali

On the church tower roof, scary with a parapit but amazing views.
