Wi-fi service brought to you by South Hill Association for Renewable Energy, and provided free to users of the Parish Hall in Golberdon.

This will also allow SHARE to remotely monitor the performance of the solar PV panels on the Hall roof, and the results will be shared on the South Hill Connection website.

A Slow Cooker Workshop was held on May 9th at the parish hall in Golberdon.  Attended by 31 people  the workshop was hosted by SHARE – South Hill Association for Renewable Energy with presentations from CEP  – Community Energy Plus.

SlowCookingProjectTopics covered were energy saving tips, including using a slow cooker, using an energy meter to measure usage, changing payment methods to save money, switching energy companies to save money and the CEP bulk buying Group good info here: https://communityenergyswitch.org.uk  and much more was discussed. The FREE workshop closed with lunch, made in a slow cooker, where more questions were asked and everyone that wanted to take home a FREE Slow cooker AND an Energy Meter.

It was a really successful session with a wide mix of ages. I thank everyone involved for setting up and coming along and value any feedback.

MoMsAlongside the FREE Slow Cooker Workshop was a FREE Taster Session for the popular Children’s Playgroup  MoM (Mums on Mondays and dads too)  held every Monday morning from 9:30 – 11:30 at the Parish Hall in Golberdon.

No need to book, just drop in and meet the friendly families and relax while the little ones play together, lots of play equipment, singing with Holly, LOTS of drawing, painting, chalk art outside and have a good natter with a cuppa. Contact Holly (01579) 382009
