Thank you to everyone that supported the Harvest Supper – the event raised £400, to be spent on new equipment for the hall.
Our next big event is the Children’s Christmas Party. This year it will be on Saturday 13th December from 1.30pm- 4pm. It will have party games and disco, a visit from Father Christmas and his helper, and a party tea. We will be limited on numbers so please book your tickets early at £4 per child. Every Thursday from 10.30 am – midday, to coincide with the mobile shop visit, there is a ‘coffee, cake & chat’ session held in the village hall, sponsored by the village hall committee. We are looking for volunteers to bake and serve each week, please contact me for more details.
Have you seen the new canopy that covers the patio area – looking forward to making good use of this area next year. Work is due to start this month on providing the outside toilet by Mike Palmer and his team, and due to be opened by the New Year.
