Community Benefit from Solar Farm

ChurchSketch sqA message from SOUTH HILL PARISH COUNCIL

Re — Community Benefit, Trefinnick Solar Farm

The first payment of £2933.33 has been received by the Parish Council.

We now have to decide how best to use and distribute the money.

We would like your suggestions on any scheme or items that can be of benefit to the people of the Parish, bearing in mind that hopefully this will be an annual occasion for the next nineteen years.

Our Parish is fairly scattered with settlements at Bray Shop, Mornick, Maders, Trevigro, Egypt as well as Golberdon.

The conditions of how we are allowed to use the money are listed in the Deed of Covenant, and reproduced in the appendix below.

If you have any suggestions how your area could benefit from this money please let us know.

We would like to get your ideas together and we then intend to hold a Public Meeting to discuss this further and to decide on a formula for the distribution of the proceeds.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Please e-mail your comments to Beverly simon.slater01@btinternet.com
or Dennis dennishicks@nfuconnect.net
