Neighbourhood Plan – Competition Time!

Show us what you like in our parish

The weather is still great, and we have just a hint of autumn but with the glorious light and colours of late summer. What better time to get out with your camera, sketchbook, or canvas, and capture some of the magic of South Hill. Here is something to encourage you.

We are holding a competition for the best photograph, sketch, or painting in any media, showing what you think is something in our environment most worth preserving for the future. This can be a landscape view, a building, a footpath or byway, or anything which you think shows what is great about our parish, but it must be from within South Hill parish. Entries will be judged by an independent professional artist, and there will be a prize for the winner.

You need to get a move on, because entries close at 12 noon on Friday the 19th September, and will be judged that afternoon. The winner will be announced and the prize presented on the following day, 20th September at our Community Day event in the parish hall.
