Have you ever wanted to perform on stage to a large audience? Now is your chance!

Callington Festival Week has just received a massive boost from the Big Lottery Fund. Callington Town Forum has been successful in receiving grant funding in excess of £8000, for a big finish to our Gala Week festivities. The idea is to provide a large marquee and associated service marquees for a performance venue in Callington. The event named “THE KELLIWIK FESTIVAL” will take place from about 1pm on Friday the 11th of July and will finish on the evening of Sunday the 13th.  Entrance to the festival will be free for everyone. Calstock Arts hosts a wide programme of events, ranging from opera, jazz, folk, blues, contemporary guitar and classical music, to performance poetry, comedy, film, theatre and literary events, talks and lectures.

Local Artist – Solo Exhibition


Chris Waring inviteChris Waring is having his first solo exhibition of paintings at Cowslip Workshops near Launceston over the Easter break. There will be a private view on the evening of the 16th of April between 6 pm and 8pm and anyone who is interested is welcome to go along and support this talented local artist.
