It was with some trepidation that I went to the parish hall on Saturday evening for the Golberdon Ladies Choir concert.

On entering the Parish Hall I was surprised to see that it was filled to capacity with people from St Austell, Saltash, North Hill & our own local folk.

The programme started with the younger generation doing their routines which I can only say were brilliant, followed by some acts of duets and individual performances that were exceedingly good.

This was followed by the ladies choir who despite their best efforts of trying to hide in the back row, performed as series of Abba numbers way, way beyond my expectations and this to me can only be attributed to the sheer brilliance of & the hard work of  Mrs Rachael Budd  who, with the refreshments, came free!
