“Life as a Monk”

The speaker for the meeting this month was Kevin Grant who gave us a lively and entertaining talk. He told us about his monastic life with the Order of the Redemptorists which included work in mental hospitals and a home for the deaf. By the fourth year of training Kevin decided not to become ordained as a priest and currently conducts funerals and is chaplain to the Royal British Legion who look after injured soldiers. He can currently be seen at the church of Our Lady in Callington.
