South Hill Connection Chair report Sept 7th 2022
Thank You to the committee and to all that support THE CONNECTION from the regular contributors as well as one off articles, those that deliver it, put up notices and that read it.
Web Site
Hosting. Peter Taylor continues to host, which allows us to keep our overall costs down.
Content. At our last meeting I asked people to look at the site and suggests any changes, a few have been made and updates will be on going as needed. Please continue to review it.
New Email created for the community orchard project
Newsletter published every month as little and often was agreed and appears to be best. We have increased delivered printed copies to 30 which includes copies left at The Parish hall, The Church and Bray Shop share box. TY Sue & Astrid for sending the newsletter emails and keeping the data base up to date. Peter will now schedule and email the newsletters. TY
Content With events in full swing there’s always plenty to include. Discussed reducing the number of pages and sending by mailchimp to condense and provide stats. Look at printing in blue and use of different fonts, possible article ask opticians.

I’ve given out 2 in Golberdon this month with good feedback. 3 houses are under offer

We hosted a very successful QUIZ night in July raising money for Bray Shop Defib project
The free plants were a huge success, giving away at the JUBILEE ORCHARD OPENING and remaining plants given to the church to sell on their stall opposite the parish hall gates.
Do we want to do anything else?
