Fields and lanes. A few stiles.   As with all CFS walks bring coffee, a packed lunch and something to sit on. Can be muddy so walking shoes or boots recommended. Sorry unsuitable for dogs. Saturday 12th September 2015 Start 11 am Plymbridge & Boringdon Camp Distance 4 1/2 miles. Grade Easy. Meet Car Park on east  ( Plympton )  side of Plym Bridge Grid Ref 525586  This is an interesting walk following the River Plym upstream as it winds its way to Bickleigh Bridge. The route passes several areas of past industrial activity as well as an ancient Iron Age fortification. Also crossing the viaduct with its Peregrine Falcon watch area. One steep climb up to Rumple Quarry , 3 Stiles.

Caradon Monthly Walkers North Hill and Hawkstor Wednesday 5th August 10:15am Grid Ref SX272767 Post Code PL15 7PQ North Hill Village Hall. Well-behaved dogs and owners welcome. Bring lunch. At the end of the walk there’ll be the chance to visit the Racehorse Inn, originally a school and thought to be about 300 years old. The church dedicated to St. Torney is believed to be over 600 years old.  >  From the hall we’ll walk a short way along a quiet lane before turning down across fields to our first bridge over the Lynher before climbing up and through Castick Farm. We turn and slowly climb through woodland tracks above Withey Brook before coming out onto Bodmin Moor below Hawkstor. A gentle climb through the Rhododendrons around the Tor and then back down a lane before turning through fields to cross the river again and climb back up to North Hill. About 4 miles. 7 or 8 stiles and two bridges. The paths are stony and uneven.
