Trewarthas are delighted to celebrate our 80th Anniversary on November 12th.
During all that time the company has only changed ownership once, in 1973, when it was bought by the Gillbard family.
We are pleased to say that we are one of the few remaining Independent retailers supplying Hardware, Ironmongery, Tools, Gardening items, Building and Timber Supplies, Plumbing and Electrical fittings as well as stocking a massive range of Paint and items for most DIY needs.
We consider ourselves very lucky to have had the support of local businesses and the community through some very trying times during recent years, and in return we try to support local businesses wherever possible.
Although we pride ourselves in keeping the traditional values, our business has also evolved and adapted to fit modern times. We feel that we are just getting better.
We rely on a team of 11 people, some of whom have worked for this company for 40 years. We provide a range of services including key cutting and glass cutting. Our staff are very knowledgable and we take great pride in our customer service.
Trewarthas are always happy to deliver large items or goods over the value of £25 Free of Charge, in Callington and the surrounding area.
We share a car park opposite the shop with Colins of Callington which is for the use of customers only.
